Location

Newtonmore is a peaceful highland village which overlooks the River Spey in the Cairngorm National Park with familiar landmarks which have appeared in the popular BBC TV series “Monarch of the Glen”.

Newtonmore’s “Wildcat Trail” is a 7-mile popular circular walk around the edge of the village taking in views of the River Spey and the Monadhliath mountains. The area offers fantastic golfing, fishing, pony trekking, walking, bird-watching, cycling, mountain-biking, climbing and snow sports making it an ideal base from which to discover the wonders of Scotland.

The village includes several shops, pubs and cafe’s, Waltzing Waters and the award winning Highland Folk Museum, all within 10 minutes walking distance from the property.
